Packaging Regulations

All cannabis or CIP to be dispensed shall be packaged as follows:

  • Cannabis or CIP shall be packaged in plain, opaque, tamper-proof, and child-resistant containers, except that the container shall not require to be child-resistant if the qualifying patient or designated caregiver has affirmed in writing that he or she would have difficulty opening a child-resistant container due to a disability.
  • The package shall be labeled with the following information:
    • The name of the alternative treatment center;
    • The name of the qualifying patient;
    • The date of dispensing;
    • The weight of the cannabis dispensed;
    • The amount of THC contained in the cannabis dispensed;
    • The batch number assigned by the alternative treatment center;
    • A warning that states “For Medical Use Only”;
    • A warning that states “Keep out of reach of children”;
    • A warning that states “This product may impair the ability to drive or operate heavy machinery”;
    • A warning that states “This product may be unlawful outside of New Hampshire”;
    • A warning that states “This product is intended for use by adults 21 years of age or older”;

Shipping Regulations

– It’s Federally illegal to transport cannabis products across state lines, excluding hemp-derived CBD products
– Importing certain materials such as vape batteries and cartridges may be considered Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems or ENDS under the PACT ACT, and thus may be challenging to ship.
